The Fire in the Backyard

Saturday I woke up to my brother screaming "there's a fire in the backyard!" Sure enough there was a fire with 10ft flames. The firemen parked in our driveway and were putting it out. It burned about a quarter of DJ's 2 acres and parts of the neighbors yards.Turns out the kids next door were shooting bottle rockets! The Fire chief told DJ that if he hadn't had mowed the lawn recently the flames would have reached the house in minutes! The kids mom ended up getting arrested because she had left the children alone for 14 hours! The kids were around the age of 12.Talk about a crazy morning!I took pictures of the damage from the kitchen window. Don't have any of the flames but I think this will give you a good picture of what happened!
